Do It Yourself Floors
With the economy staggering at an all time low and the job market as tough as it is, the last thing on people’s minds is home improvement. It makes sense not to do any improvements on something that you might lose in the next couple of years. But I think Americans need to restore their confidence in the economy. There are still ways to add in, for example, exotic hardwood floors to your home if you know how to install it cheaply.
Half the cost of hardwood flooring is usually the cost of expensive and not always professional labor. There are many places that just sell the floors and in one day, you can rip up your carpet and install your floors at half the cost.
Tiling your kitchen or bathroom is the same deal. You can install great looking Italian porcelain tile yourself and it won’t hurt you’re wallet nearly as much as you think it might. All you have to do is make sure that you are being safe and that you have the right equipment to finish the job. All you need to do is run to the local hardware store and get some rather cheap tile cutting tools, a tape measure, and some tiles and you’re all set. So there?s no need to wait for the economy to pick up.
